Business Formation, Planning and Transactions

Mr. Bassett’s corporate practice emphasizes representation of closely held businesses (S corporations, Limited Liability Companies, C corporations, etc. including Professional Corporations and PLLC’s), devoting a substantial part of his practice to the representation of professional entities (doctors, dentists, architects, accountants, engineers, lawyers, etc.).  His practice includes advising clients in the formation, acquisition, merger, sale or termination of such businesses, as well as the general planning, business transactions, contracts and agreements of such entities.

Estate and Trust Planning and Administration

Mr. Bassett also assists his business clients in implementing and coordinating their estate planning with their business planning.  This process may include the drafting of wills and revocable trusts as well as the utilization of more sophisticated estate planning techniques and asset protection planning.

Mr. Bassett was selected for inclusion in Mountain States Super Lawyers as a Rising Star (2008) in the category of Business/Corporate Law.
