Taylor is an associate practicing in the Intellectual Property Section of Ray Quinney and Nebeker. Taylor’s practice involves the preparation and prosecution of patent applications, and he is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Taylor is a graduate of the Brigham Young University, J. Reuben Clark Law School where he was a recipient of the Clark Scholarship and graduated Cum Laude. During law school, he served on the board of the Student Intellectual Property Law Association as the Vice President, and participated in the Giles S. Rich Intellectual Property Moot Court Competition where he was awarded Best BYU Oralist and Best Overall Oralist. He was also distinguished as receiving the highest grade in 1L Contracts.
Prior to Law school, Taylor earned a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Brigham Young University and worked as an engineer for Siemens AG. Taylor also worked as a river guide for 6 years on the Colorado River where he led week-long trips down Cataract Canyon in Utah’s Canyonlands National Park.
