Kendra Richards assists clients in obtaining and protecting intellectual property rights, with a primary focus on patent prosecution in the fields of computer science and software. As a Registered Patent Attorney, Kendra has experience drafting and prosecuting U.S. and foreign patent applications, advising on patent portfolio strategies, and guiding inventors and companies through the complex procedures of the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

While Kendra’s practice is primarily focused on prosecution, she also maintains an interest in developing litigation experience to provide clients with comprehensive intellectual property protection strategies.

Prior to practicing law, Kendra earned a degree in Computer Science, providing a strong technical foundation for understanding complex inventions and communicating effectively with inventors. She received her J.D. from Brigham Young University, where she competed in trial advocacy, participated in the global law seminar, and was a member of the Student Intellectual Property Law Association.
