RQN handles personal information in the course and scope of providing legal services. RQN has a legitimate business interest in handling the information. RQN may also handle information pursuant to a legal obligation.

We may also disclose personal data with a buyer or other successor in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of the firm’s assets.
We may assemble aggregated, non-personally identifiable information, which may be disclosed to third parties at our discretion.
RQN does not sell any personal data to a third party for a third party’s direct marketing purposes. RQN does not use personal data as part of any automated decision-making process.
Retention Period
RQN retains personal data:
- For as long as necessary to:
- Fulfill the purposes for which the personal data was collected
- Fulfill our business relationship and/or
- Satisfy legal requirements; or
- In accordance with industry standards for records retention; or
- until you request that we securely destroy your personal data, and we agree in our sole discretion that such information may be destroyed.
Personal data may be retained for longer periods if there are valid legal or business grounds to retain it. For example, RQN may retain personal data if required by law or court order, or if necessary to protect RQN’s rights.
Security
RQN employs physical, technical, and administrative procedures to safeguard the personal information RQN collects online. However, RQN cannot fully ensure or warrant the security of any personal data you transmit via this website, and you transmit such information at your own risk.

Your Rights With Regard To The Data We Collect
You have the following rights to the extent applicable under the respective laws. The fact that information is listed in this Privacy Notice should not be construed as an acknowledgement or admission that such laws apply to you or to RQN.
Utah Privacy Rights
Under specific circumstances, a consumer has the right to:
- Confirm whether RQN is processing a consumer’s personal data and access the consumer’s personal data
- Delete the consumer’s personal data that the consumer provided to the controller
- Obtain a copy of the consumer’s personal data, that the consumer previously provided to the controller, in a format that:
- To the extent technically feasible, is portable;
- To the extent practicable, is readily usable; and
- Allows the consumer to transmit the data to another controller without impediment, where the processing is carred out by automated means
- Opt out of the processing of the consumer’s personal data for purposes of targeted advertising, or the sale of personal data
If applicable, RQN will, within 45 days after the day on which RQN receives a request to exercise a right, (i) take action on the consumer’s request; and (ii) inform the consumer of any action taken on the consumer’s request
RQN may extend the initial 45 day period by an additional 45 days if reasonably necessary due to the complexity of the request or the volume of the requests received.
The requirements of Utah law do not restrict RQN’s ability to:
- comply with a federal, state, or local law, rule, or regulation;
(b) comply with a civil, criminal, or regulatory inquiry, investigation, subpoena, or summons by a federal, state, local, or other governmental entity;
(c) cooperate with a law enforcement agency concerning activity that the controller or processor reasonably and in good faith believes may violate federal, state, or local laws, rules, or regulations;
(d) investigate, establish, exercise, prepare for, or defend a legal claim;
(e) provide a product or service requested by a consumer or a parent or legal guardian of a child;
(f) perform a contract to which the consumer or the parent or legal guardian of a child is a party, including fulfilling the terms of a written warranty or taking steps at the request of the consumer or parent or legal guardian before entering into the contract with the consumer;
(g) take immediate steps to protect an interest that is essential for the life or physical safety of the consumer or of another individual;
(h) (i) detect, prevent, protect against, or respond to a security incident, identity theft, fraud, harassment, malicious or deceptive activity, or any illegal activity; or (ii) investigate, report, or prosecute a person responsible for an action described in Utah Code Ann. 13-301-64 (1)(h)(i);
(i) preserve the integrity or security of systems; or (ii) investigate, report, or prosecute a person responsible for harming or threatening the integrity or security of systems, as applicable;
(j) if RQN discloses the processing in a notice described in Utah Code Ann. § 13-61-302, engage in public or peer-reviewed scientific, historical, or statistical research in the public interest that adheres to all other applicable ethics and privacy laws;
(k) assist another person with an obligation described in this subsection;
(l) process personal data to: (i) conduct internal analytics or other research to develop, improve, or repair a controller’s or processor’s product, service, or technology; (ii) identify and repair technical errors that impair existing or intended functionality; or (iii) effectuate a product recall;
(m) process personal data to perform an internal operation that is:(i) reasonably aligned with the consumer’s expectations based on the consumer’s existing relationship with the RQN; or (ii) otherwise compatible with processing to aid the controller or processor in providing a product or service specifically requested by a consumer or a parent or legal guardian of a child or the performance of a contract to which the consumer or a parent or legal guardian of a child is a party; or
(n) retain a consumer’s email address to comply with the consumer’s request to exercise a right.
Children’s Privacy
RQN’s website is not directed to children under the age of 16, and RQN does not knowingly collect personal data online from children under the age of 16.
GDPR Privacy Rights
If you are a Data Subject in the European Economic Area, you may have the right, under certain circumstances, to request, access, rectify, erase, and restrict how we process your Personal Data. These rights might include the ability to review the Personal Data we have in our Information and Communications systems concerning you, the ability to make any corrections to that Personal Data, the ability to be informed of who that data may have been shared with, the ability to request that we erase all of our Personal Data, and the ability to restrict how we Process your Personal Data. We will respond to any of your requests to exercise these above Data Subject rights within 30 days. If we cannot heed your request within 30 days, we will contact you and advise you of the circumstances. RQN is outside the European Economic Area. Regarding information received by RQN about European residents and citizens, RQN may share personal information as disclosed above.
