RQN attorney, Bruce L. Olson’s, recent article, Basics of Nonprofit Corporation Law, published in the Jan/Feb 2020 issue of the Utah Bar Journal, discusses selected state law and tax features of nonprofit corporations with which every Utah tax professional should be familiar and that will be useful to nonprofit corporation boards, donors, and service recipients.

Mr. Olson, a Shareholder of the Firm, is a tax attorney who assists clients with nonprofit, corporate, tax and tax controversy issues. He was a principal draftsman of the Utah Revised Nonprofit Corporation Act and periodically assists in revising its provisions.
