RQN attorney Skye Lazaro was recently appointed to fill the Adult Criminal Defense position on the Utah Sentencing Commission. Established in 1993, the Sentencing Commission is a twenty-eight-member body charged by statute with developing sentencing guidelines and making recommendations to all three branches of government regarding the sentencing and release of individuals committing criminal and juvenile offenses.
Ms. Lazaro serves as Chair of the Firm’s White Collar, Criminal Defense & Government Investigations, and Cannabis Law Groups. Her practice focuses on corporate and criminal defense. She was included on the list of Top 40 Under 40 by the National Trial Lawyers Association (2018-2022).
