Cory is an associate in the Intellectual Property Section of Ray Quinney and Nebeker. Her practice focuses on patent drafting and prosecution. Cory draws on experience as a systems engineer and web developer to bring a creative and thorough approach to patent procurement.
Before entering the legal profession, Cory worked as an engineer for IBM, EDS, and several subsidiaries of General Motors. She also has experience in database architecture and website design.
Cory earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Brigham Young University. She received a J.D., magna cum laude, from the Brigham Young University J. Reuben Clark Law School. During law school, Cory held multiple leadership roles and received several awards recognizing excellence in scholarship and service.
Outside the office, Cory holds black belts in three martial arts disciplines and operated a karate school for more than twenty years. Cory enjoys spending time with family, playing strategy games, solving puzzles, and traveling.
