Mr. Baker is an associate in the firm’s Tax and Estate Planning Section. His practice focuses on estate planning and wealth transfer strategies for individuals and families, including the preparation of wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, charitable remainder trusts, intentionally defective grantor trusts, domestic asset protection trusts, and Nevada incomplete gift non-grantor trusts. He also advises clients on aligning their estate plans with business and real estate interests, including the formation of LLCs and drafting of operating agreements.
Mr. Baker works with clients across a wide spectrum of wealth, tailoring estate and tax planning strategies to meet their financial, familial, and philanthropic goals. He regularly leads client meetings, assessing needs and proposing customized solutions to achieve long-term objectives.
Mr. Baker earned his LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Florida Levin College of Law and his J.D. from Seattle University School of Law, where he was active in the Tax Law Association and Sports and Entertainment Law Association. He holds a B.A. in Political Science from Brigham Young University. Mr. Baker is admitted to the Utah State Bar and is fluent in Spanish.
