Michael R. Johnson, Shareholder, joins RQ&N as the firm’s Bankruptcy Section Chair. Prior to joining RQ&N, Mr. Johnson was a Shareholder with a major regional law firm in Salt Lake City. Mr. Johnson has represented major corporations in bankruptcy and commercial litigation matters. He has been included in the 2009 edition of Best Lawyers in America in Bankruptcy and Creditor-Debtor Rights Law and maintains an AV Rating with Martindale-Hubbell. Mr. Johnson received his J.D. from the University of Utah in 1994.

David H. Leigh, Of Counsel, also joins RQ&N’s Bankruptcy Section. Mr. Leigh practiced as an associate with the same major regional law firm as Mr. Johnson prior to joining the firm. His practice is concentrated in bankruptcy with an emphasis in business reorganizations, creditor rights, and general commercial litigation. He received his J.D. from the University of Oregon School of Law in 2002.

Johnson & Leigh add their wealth of experience to Ray Quinney’s existing, established bankruptcy practice and will continue their regional practice at RQ&N. The Bankruptcy and Creditors’ Rights practice group at RQ&N is comprised of eight of the Firm’s full time lawyers with additional support from a dozen other lawyers with experience in the intersection of bankruptcy law with the commercial law mergers and acquisitions, banking law, and real estate law.
