John A. Adams has been elected Managing Director of the Firm, succeeding James S. Jardine, who has served in that position since 1990. Mr. Jardine has been elected as President of the Firm, succeeding Clark P. Giles. Mr. Jardine stated, “John Adams has a wonderful history of leadership, in the Bar and in our community, and our Firm is very pleased that John is willing to assume this important responsibility of leadership.”

Mr. Adams is a Shareholder in the Firm’s litigation section. His practice focuses on prosecuting and defending commercial litigation matters, particularly complex business disputes. Mr. Adams is a former President of the Utah State Bar (2002-2003). He maintains an “AV” rating with Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating awarded to attorneys for professional competence and ethics. He has been included on the list of The Best Lawyers in America 2007 in Commercial Litigation and has been voted by his peers throughout the state as one of Utah’s Legal Elite in the category of Business Litigation. Mr. Adams graduated from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University in 1981 and was Editor of the BYU Law Review. He was a law clerk to the Honorable George E. MacKinnon, United States Court of Appeals, D.C. Circuit.
