RQN represented a local auto dealership that employed a plaintiff who, shortly after her employment began, began suffering from seizures in the workplace. The plaintiff alleged that she suffered from discrimination and harassment based on her seizure condition. After about fourteen months of employment, the plaintiff quit and began working at another auto dealership, alleging that she was constructively discharged by RQN’s client. RQN’s trial team, Robert Rice, Jascha Clark and Susan Seder presented their client’s defense to a jury in the United States District Court for the District of Utah in a five-day trial. After listening to the testimony of witnesses and reviewing the evidence, the jury found for RQN’s client and rejected plaintiff’s discrimination and harassment claims in a complete defense victory.
